Will You Provide Order Updates?
Staying informed about your e-Apostille order progress is essential, especially when working to deadlines. This guide explains the automatic updates you receive, how to track progress in real-time, and when to expect notifications.
Key points:
- Automatic email notifications at every key processing stage (if you have opted in for this)
- Real-time status tracking through your online account
- Updates when documents are received, processed, and completed
- Contact us anytime for additional information about your order

Everything You Need for a Fast Legalisation Service
Your e-Apostille is issued directly by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). Our team will verify the document and organise valid electronic solicitor certification to avoid delays.
Automatic Email Notifications Throughout Processing
Automatic Email Notifications Throughout Processing
We recommend that you opt in to email notifications at the time you place your order. We can then provide automatic email updates at every significant stage of your e-Apostille order. These notifications keep you informed without requiring you to actively check your order status, though real-time information is always available in your online account.
Email notifications are sent to the email address you provided during checkout. Each notification includes your order reference number and specific information about the processing stage reached.
All notifications come from our official email address, so you may want to add this to your contacts to ensure notifications don’t end up in spam folders. Check your spam or junk folder if you haven’t received expected notifications.
Real-Time Status Tracking in Your Online Account
Real-Time Status Tracking in Your Online Account
Your online account provides more detailed and current information than email notifications alone. The account dashboard shows real-time status for all your orders with specific progress indicators.
Log in using the email address you provided during checkout.
Status updates appear in real-time during business hours as processing progresses. The system updates automatically when meaningful changes occur.
Your account also maintains a complete order history including all past orders and VAT invoices. This allows you to track multiple active orders simultaneously if you have more than one in progress.
What Different Status Messages Mean
What Different Status Messages Mean
The order status will be updated whenever meaningful progress occurs. Here are some order statuses you may see:
Waiting for document(s) to arrive from customer: Once you have placed your order this will be the first status you see. At this stage we are simply waiting to receive your document(s).
Document has arrived and will now be checked: This is the next logical step in the process. This indicates we have received your document(s) and will be reviewing this to ascertain any additional verification requirements.
Verification requested, awaiting reply: If we contact the issuing authority to request verification of your document you will see this status.
Client arranging verification to us, awaiting verification before continuing: In some cases, we may need you to contact the issuing authority to instruct them to email some direct verification to us. Some authorities insist on this instruction coming from the person named on the document as opposed to a third party. We will let you know if this is required.
Document is being presented to the solicitor for certification: This is the next meaningful update. It means we have all we need to continue with the order and we are organising the electronic solicitor certification.
Document Submitted to FCDO for e-apostille: Almost there! This status confirms your document has been certified and is now with the FCDO being legalised with the e-Apostille.
Document completed: Your order is complete and we will email this to you as soon as that is the case.
In addition to online account updates, we send email or text notifications (if you opt in to this at the time of order) at key stages of processing. You receive confirmation when we receive your documents, when processing completes, and when your e-Apostille is delivered. Check your spam folder if you do not see expected notifications.
