Public Documents

Paper Apostille

These documents CANNOT be issued with the e-apostille They must gave the paper apostille. Public documents and government documents are signed or stamped by a government office, or a public official. They are always processed as original documents and should not be copied or signed by a solicitor.

Documents that have been INK signed, certified or witnessed by a UK solicitor or UK Notary Public before they are sent to us for the apostille.

  • Affidavits  – witnessed by a solicitor before sending to us

  • Statutory Declarations – witnessed by a solicitor before sending to us
  • Power of Attorney – witnessed by a solicitor before sending to us
  • Deed Poll – witnessed by a solicitor before sending to us

We CANNOT arrange the solicitor certification of these documents. Find a local solicitor to get the document certified before we add the apostille.

Personal Documents

e-Apostille or Paper

These documents CAN be issued with the e-apostille or the paper apostille. They need to be signed by a solicitor or notary before the apostille can be issued. We INCLUDE solicitor certification in our service. Before the e-apostille can be issued, we have to conduct document checks. We do not accept documents ‘in good faith’. We have to check the veracity of documents before our solicitor will sign them.

  • Diplomas and Degrees– Academic certificates from universities
  • Transcripts – Official transcript from universities
  • School Records – Reports, letters and other school documents from UK schools
  • A Levels and GCSEs – Official certificates from colleges and schools
  • TEFL and TESOLs – From UK recognised TEFL services
