How We Confirm Document Receipt
How We Confirm Document Receipt
When we receive your documents, we verify them against your order and update your account status immediately. If you have opted into order update notifications, you receive an email or text confirmation once we have checked that the documents match your order details and are ready for processing.
This typically happens within a few hours of physical delivery during business hours. For documents provided by email, we’ll reply to your email to acknowledge receipt.
Your online account will also be updated to show when documents have been received.
What Happens After Documents Arrive
What Happens After Documents Arrive
Once documents arrive and are verified against your order, processing begins immediately. The specific steps depend on your document type and whether additional verification is required.
Documents are inspected to ensure they are suitable for e-Apostille processing. If we do require additional verification that requires some action from yourself, we will let you know at this stage. Any issues are communicated immediately via email and your account status updates.
Once we have sufficient verification, our solicitors apply their electronic signature to create certified versions suitable for FCDO e-Apostille submission. The document is then submitted to the FCDO in order to be issued with the e-Apostille. This typically completes within one working day.
